V.V. Putin’s image in Parfyonov’s programme “The Other Day”, 2000—2004

Abstract. Problem of the image of the political leader is of particular importance for historians, because the classical consideration of the subject of the recent past today is accompanied by a connotative series of TV stream, setting researchers the task of developing new approaches to its consideration. The author uses discourse analysis of the speeches of reporters and journalists. The purpose of the article is to analyze the genesis and conceptual foundations of V. V. Putin's image in the program "Namedni" 2000-2004, broadcasts of which were considered as a historical source.
