 Abstract. The article deals with the topic of preventive volunteerism, the organization of crime prevention in places of deprivation of liberty, the features of motivation of convicts to volunteer in places of deprivation of liberty, the analysis of a sociological study on the example of CC No.7 of the Republic of Mari El.
Keywords: The criminal-executive system, the penitentiary sphere, prevention of offenses, prisoners sentenced to imprisonment, preventive volunteering.
