Abstract. The aim of the article is to explore the issue of implementing a comprehensive intelligent integrated system for managing and monitoring power grids as a logical continuation of the ideas behind electrical equipment management systems in accordance with the Strategy for the Development of the Fuel and Energy Complex of the Russian Federation until 2050. The author examines main technologies and proposes a model and criteria for assessing the effectiveness of the system’s operation with the function of adapting to external disturbances. The methodology of the study included collection and analysis of official statistical data and mathematical modeling.
Keywords: distribution electrical networks, intelligent control system, digital transformation, artificial intelligence, automation, digitalization, intelligent grid, actively adaptive grids, digital twin, risk‑based approach
