Additional Education for Children: A Sociological Analysis of EdTech

Abstract. The article deals with EdTech-based education in Russia. An exploratory study was conducted through interviews with experts to investigate the definition of EdTech-based education, the technologies involved, its advantages and limitations, as well as predictions for the future. The findings indicate that EdTech encompasses online education that leverages various new technologies, possesses unique characteristics, and is becoming increasingly popular today.
