Evaluating the Implementation of the All-Russian Project «Sambo in School» in General Education Institutions of Petrozavodsk

 Abstract. This article examines the implementation of the All-Russian initiative «Sambo in School» in the city of Petrozavodsk. It presents quantitative metrics related to the project's implementation and identifies challenges that hinder the promotion of sambo in educational institutions. The significance of this research lies in the need to popularize sambo among children and youth, as well as to enhance awareness of its historical development in the Republic of Karelia. The authors draw their conclusions from a theoretical analysis, a synthesis of statistical data, and a survey conducted among teachers.
