Family Values of Residents of the Karelian Arctic: Insights from the 2024 Expedition to the Kostomuksha City District

Abstract. This article presents the findings of a study examining the family values of residents in the Kostomuksha city district at present. It addresses the issue of the erosion of family values in contemporary society and explores the family traditions and values held by the district's population. The research utilized both surveys and interviews to gather data from the residents. The obtained data were compared with the Decree of the President of the Russian Federation No. 809 of 2022, which aims to reinforce traditional Russian spiritual and moral values.
