Abstract. Prevention is one of the topical areas of state activity in the field of countering extremism. The article analyzes the vulnerabilities that representatives of education face when planning the thematic content of events aimed at preventing extremism. Specific recommendations are given to improve the organization of extracurricular activities. The research describes in this publication was made possible in part by R&D Support Program for undergraduate and graduate students of PetrSU, funded by the Government of the Republic of Karelia.
