Digitalization in social services for the population on the example of the Kemsky district of the Republic of Karelia

 Abstract. The scientific article is devoted to the study of the digitalization process, its impact on the work of social protection institutions of the Kemsky district, as well as to identify the main barriers to the introduction of digital technologies. The relevance of the study is due to the growing role of the use of digital technologies to improve the quality of social services provided, the targeting and effectiveness of the provision of social support measures. Using the method of semi-structured interviews, it was revealed that the social services of the Kemsky district have an average level of digitalization development, which necessitates the development of technical support for the digitalization process in the system of social services for the population.
