The Finnish occupation regime on the territory of the Olonets region in 1941—1944

Abstract. The article discusses the specifics of the Finnish occupation regime on the territory of the Olonets region during the Great Patriotic War. Based on the documents of the NKGB KFSSR and the memoirs of the prisoners, the nature of the work performed by the prisoners, the facts of the crimes committed against them, as well as the conditions of detention are analyzed. Data are provided on the number of civilians remaining in the zone of occupation.
