Fraud in receiving social benefits (Article 159.2 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation)

 Abstract. The purpose of the study is to analyze the signs of the composition of such a crime as fraud in receiving payments. Special attention is paid to the subject of the crime provided for in Article 159.2 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation. The research used general scientific methods, namely description, analysis, as well as private scientific ones: analysis of normative legal acts, the method of system analysis, the formal legal method. Based on the results of the study, a proposal was considered to amend the legislation on social benefits in order to give certainty to the signs of a crime provided for in Article 159.2 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation.
