Abstract. This article discusses the prospects for the development of school tourism in the Republic of Karelia and the possibility of introducing its elements into the school curriculum in geography. The following research methods were used: analysis, synthesis, comparison. The article is of interest both for representatives of the tourism industry and for educational institutions.
