Opposition as a way of metaphorisation of space in Robert Frost’s poetry (by the example of collection "A Boy’s Will")

 Abstract. In the work the author investigates opposition as a way of modelling space in Robert Frost’s poetry by the example of the debut collection A Boy’s Will. Within the work the definition “metaphorisation” is illustrated, and opposition is considered as a productive way of space recreation. Within the poetry analysis four main groups of opposition are distinguished: we-they, home-nature (inside-outside), life-death, light-darkness. The author pays attention to the interaction of these oppositions and the spaces, which are formed by them.
