Opportunities of canistherapy when working with people with disabilities and disabled people: experience, difficulties and prospects

Abstract. Currently, the "canistherapy" method has become widespread in the West, and now there is an active introduction and implementation of this method in our country. Beginning with positive rehabilitation effects, effectively affecting the emotional sphere of a person's personality, therapy was transformed into a separate social rehabilitation, based on the development of an individual rehabilitation program.
Keywords: social rehabilitation technology; psychological condition; therapy dogs; animal therapy.
