Human capital as a factor of socio-economic development

 Abstract. At the present stage of development of society, more and more countries begin to attach importance to human capital as one of the key factors in the disclosure of economic potential. The problem of human capital and its effective use attracts many scientists and practitioners, as it is quite relevant in the development of not only the world economy, but also the economy of an individual country in particular. This article will consider the concept of human capital and such forming factors as the level of education and health, its impact on the economy of a particular country, as well as the problems and prospects of its expansion in Russian Federation.
