Personal Data Consent: Analyzing Legislative Changes

Abstract. This publication offers the author's perspective on recent legislative changes concerning the processing of personal data. Specifically, it analyzes the latest amendments, which came into effect in September 2025, relating to the independence of consent for data processing from other documents and information. The article also examines whether appropriate sanctions are established within the Administrative Offenses Code. The author highlights a positive trend in domestic legislation related to personal data processing, noting timely updates in response to evolving circumstances and emerging regulatory requirements.
