 Abstract. The article aims to systematize published information regarding the significant milestones in the life of Professor Ilya Shegelman from Petrozavodsk State University. The research focuses on examining his major works and scientific contributions, as well as reviews from his colleagues and associates, and analyzing publications that highlight his journey as a professor, inventor, and coach. The author emphasizes the diverse nature of Ilya Shegelman's endeavors and their key outcomes.
