Abstract. This study addresses the significant issue of vitamin D deficiency in the Udmurt Republic, which poses a serious public health concern. A critical aspect of this issue is the necessity to monitor vitamin D levels in the blood serum of the population. The aim of this research is to compare the vitamin D levels in the serum of residents of the Udmurt Republic in 2021, conducting an analysis of 1,682 laboratory tests. The results revealed a widespread deficiency of vitamin D among the population. These findings highlight the urgent need for proactive measures to prevent deficiency and ensure timely diagnosis to avert severe health consequences.
