Abstract. The article explores the demand for psychological services in Kostomuksha. A questionnaire comprising 11 questions was created to assess the respondents' awareness of available psychological services, their experiences in seeking psychological help, and their approaches to resolving current psychological issues. The survey results revealed that many residents of the town prefer to seek support from family members instead of professionals. Additionally, the findings indicate a degree of optimism regarding the profession, as respondents believe that societal trust in psychologists has grown.
