The image of fox in Norwegian culture

Abstract. The aim of the research is to identify the features of the fox image in Norwegian tales and the characteristics of the animal metaphors. The Norwegian image of the fox has several specific features. It represents vigour, material well-being and satiety, as well as desire to achieve one’s goals.
