Features of the use of service dogs at customs

 Abstract. The article discusses the features of the use of service dogs in customs authorities. Statistical data on the effectiveness of the use of service dogs at customs are given. The relevance of the topic is due to the fact that the cynological service in the system of the Federal Customs Service of the Russian Federation is of great importance for ensuring state security. The purpose of the article is to study the sequence and principles of selection, training and use of service dogs in the customs service. The analysis of special scientific literature is used as a research method. The conclusion is made about the importance of high-quality selection of service dogs, their systematic training and training, timely identification and elimination of errors during training.
