 Abstract. The article examines the policy of the Finnish occupation authorities and the war crimes of the employees of the concentration camp No. 5 in Petrozavodsk, which was the largest of the six Finnish concentration camps during the occupation of the city in 1941-1944. Consideration of this particular concentration camp is due to the fact that the largest number of documents have been preserved about it, some of which have been published. The article deals with new documents that were not previously introduced into scientific circulation. The nature of war crimes committed against prisoners, the life of prisoners and the nature of the work they perform are considered.
