Using Insect Larvae as a Component in Rainbow Trout Feeds

 Abstract. This article examines the utilization of Black Soldier Fly larvae as a feed source for rainbow trout in enclosed water supply systems. It presents information regarding the nutritional value of Black Soldier Fly larvae and explores their potential application in fish farming. The experimental results demonstrate the beneficial impact of incorporating Black Soldier Fly grubs into the feed, as evidenced by the increased growth rate of fish body weight, which is further supported by the feed coefficient indicators.
