Machinery for the extraction of wood from energy plantations

Renewable energy currently pays great attention worldwide, both from the point of view of energy and from the point of view of environmental conservation. Each country has its own specific renewable energy resources. In existing forests receive a considerable amount of dendromass, which is also used for energy purposes, however, for dendromass in a forest you have to spend dozens of years. For a relatively short period of time it is possible to obtain a large number of dendromass by growing energy plantations short-rotation logging. The cultivation of energy plantations applies to such agricultural direction, which had been receiving significant amounts of dendromass for a short time on the areas previously used for agricultural purposes. Thus not only receive dendromass, but also rationally use land.

On the problem of rational use of sawmill waste: nanomodified wood-cement material on the basis of sawdust

The problem of rational use of sawmill waste is relevant for many years. Known technology use of sawdust in the production pellets, briquettes, building materials. However, the problem remains urgent. In Russia, volumes of dump sawdust are great. Contribution to the solution of the problem: can make use of sawdust as a basis for the production of nanomodified wood-cement materials with nanomodifiers. Realized studies in Petrozavodsk State University have shown that as effective modifiers may be nanoparticles of steatite. However, wood-cement mixes more effectively use an amorphous nanostructured micro-silica grade KOVELOS: additive 0.5% ... 0.7% by weight of cement M500 increases the strength of the cement-wood material 1.5 ... 2.1 times, depending on the manufacturing technology. Application for a patent filed.
