 Abstract. The work is devoted to the institution of asylum in the territory of the Russian Federation to foreign citizens, the issue of persecution and some other problems. The aim of the work is to study the institution of asylum, as well as to identify the problems that occur, to study judicial practice. At the end of the work will be marked conclusions, which comes to the author of the article.
